I don't have a lot to say about Cold Comfort Farm, but I will say I like how secrets go unanswered at the end of the book, (like the infamous woodshed,) to me this feels like a parody of the novel as an institution. Whenever I read or watch something which begins with multiple seemingly unrelated threads or facts that seem unnecessary or two plots,  I get excited. I love it when media takes disparate ideas and weaves them together into what's often a mind-blowing conclusion. But that's nothing what life is like. A time when someone is offered just enough information for what they need is incredibly rare, in reality, you get too much data, or not enough.
