In Response to Animalcula

Looking over all of the different types of beings the book talks about, I found a particular relation to the monsters of the SCP Foundation. Secure, Contain, and Protect is their motto. This is a fictional group with fictional monsters, all of which have their own personal characteristics.

This is a link to the main site, there are many inmates at SCP, many not as good as others. A few to keep a look out for are SCP-173, -049, -106, and -682.

For an example, SCP-173 is a monster constructed from concrete and rebar. He is in a cell where there are constantly people monitoring him. When entering SCP-173's cell, there must be three people with eyesight on him at all times, notifying when each is going to blink. SCP-173 is not aggressive but does attack if no one is looking at him directly. He attacks by snapping the neck of his victims. He is impossible to dodge, coming closer when you blink. It is possible to blink if he is far away and he will not reach you, however if you do blink within a few meter of him, you will surely die. When no one is in his cell, the sound of scraping stone can be heard. There is also a game of this, called SCP- Containment Breach. Enclosed areas with SCP-173 roaming the halls, every so often you are forced to blink, so either backstep as far as you can from him, or die.
